Try to have a specific title. Human resources manager, specialising in sales recruitment for example.
Human resources manager specialising in the world of start-ups.
Human resources manager specialising in international mobility... Try to give a specific title to catch the recruiter's eye.
So, you're going to tell me "Yeah, that's good, but by doing that I'm going to limit myself...". But the trick is what?
The trick is that, for example, for three weeks you send a cv with a specific A title, and then three weeks later you send a cv with a specific B title.
Even if, in the body of the text, we find the same competences.
You see the principle? Because if you make it too general, you don't interest anyone, we agree. If you make it too specific, you miss out on opportunities. The trick is to turn the headings around and really try to present yourself as someone who is a specialist in something.
Second point, it is a mistake I often come across in the human resources managers I coach, these are people who are going to give a rather flat description of their work. For example, in recruitment, they will tell you "Here we go, I select the candidates, I give them personality tests, I give them interviews, the evaluation process, etc.". "
This is something very descriptive and does not bring any added value.
So there you really have to say to yourself, "but what's so special about my approach to this particular sphere of human resources? A working method, a network, links with alumni associations? ... and that is to try to get out of the list that doesn't bring anything and that doesn't show your added value.
Thirdly, come to a job interview with specific examples, with figures. I have recruited 400 painters for a large building site.
I set up the company rules and then this and then that.
I am proficient in communication on social networks for recruitment... Try to have specific examples of things you do better than others or differently to stand out.
